I saw some code utilizing DPAPI.  Given the research around MS's poor DPAPI implementation, http://elie.im/publi/recovering-windows-secrets-and-EFS-certificates-offline , is it still safe to rely on DPAPI to protect my credentials?  I am thinking not....
